Solar Haven was founded in 2017 to make whole-home electrification something a normal Victorian family could actually afford. We started as a small Derrimut-based outfit installing LED lighting under the VEET scheme. We grew because customers kept coming back — first for hot water, then aircon, then solar. Today we install the lot.
Our mission is simple: bring energy to life. Through heat-pump hot water, reverse-cycle aircon, solar, batteries and EV chargers, we help households slash their power bill, lower their carbon footprint and reclaim independence from rising gas and electricity prices.

Solar Haven is born
Started in Derrimut as a small electrical contractor specialising in LED lighting upgrades under Victoria's VEET energy-efficiency scheme.
Hot water joins the menu
Added heat-pump hot water installs. The Federal STC + Victorian VEEC stack made $0-upfront upgrades real for thousands of homes.
Reverse-cycle aircon division launches
Took on the gas-to-electric heating transition full-time. Became an ARC-certified split system installer for Midea and Rinnai.
First solar + battery installs
Expanded into rooftop solar and home batteries, building the full whole-home electrification offer that Solar Haven is known for today.
NSW expansion
Began servicing eligible NSW postcodes under the Energy Saver Scheme (ESS) alongside the existing Victorian operation.
EV charger division
Added home EV charger installs. Most chargers we install today are solar-compatible from day one.
Cheaper Home Batteries Program
The Federal SRES rebate launched, cutting up to 30% off battery installs. Solar Haven helped lock in the maximum credit for hundreds of Victorian homes before the 2026 step-down.
